Ulfberht Sword and Viking Shield

Legendary Ulfberth Sword with Viking shield.
inspired by the ''AWE me'' YouTube channel.
The Ulfberth swords were believed to be made throughout the 9th and 11th centuries and were made from Crucible Steel which was a method of steel making believed to be originated in Sri Lanka and made it's way through Middle East and was later adopted by Scandinavian blacksmiths.
The inscription ''Ulberth'' which is made from wrought iron and inlaid in to the blade, is believed the be either the makers mark or the name of the original blacksmith. A close translation is thought to be ''ulf'' (wolf) + ''Berth'' (borne/birthed)

The anvil model was made by following Blender Guru's Tutorial.
Modelled and Rendered in Blender and textured in Substance 3D Painter.
